Project SWG is an emulator for Star Wars Galaxies which initially was started after the announcement that the official SWG was being shut down. Our whole meaning here is to create an emulator which will provide NGE servers for players to continue playing a game closer to the one on official live after the game has been closed. We will be basing our core game on the final Publish of the game.

The project was founded by just after the official announcement of SWGs Closure. At the time there wasnt much hope and creating this was a last chance resort, as of this moment it has gone much further than imagined. The project is continuing to grow slowly but surely and is always looking for more to help out. At this time we now have some progress with development, we can login and load into the game within the NGE successfully.

Now the official game has closed down we are able to put our full concentration into developing our own server so we can once again play the game. We are creating this in our free time and are not doing it to make a profit or any monetary gain, only to return the game that we miss.
