  • So far Bloodfin Emu has declared JtL as their next publish, as I have stated before PreCU favors player Cap ship deployment due group size. I'm in my final stages of ship scale/balancing of weapons and system redundancy damage reduction, that being said I require input regarding final two remaining models of Rebel and Neutral faction.

      2 turbo lasers on a CR90 Corvette, followed by 4 traditional anti star fighter turret cannons. The CR90's saving grace will be it's inherent speed and maneuverability over the Nebulon-B escort frigate or Imperial Lancer class Frigate.

    • All looks good. I wonder though, will there be any AI controlled weaponry? Or is all of it human controlled?


      Also, I'm not aware of what ships are currently in game for models to be used, but there need to be more ships for the independants. Perhaps this? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Action_VI_transport


      I believe you would want to create new models for these ships, correct? Since most of them aren't in the game.


      Another point, the Nebulon-B should have fighter and POB capacity, since it's in other games and movies. Or would you rather take it out for balance reasons?

    • Well I considered much larger ships as the Hull Innate DR represents a ships length,
      thus max is 90% versus star fighter scale weaponry.
      As for multiple weapons often available on warships,
      perhaps link turrets too a particular gunner arc like port, starboard, topside, belly, etc.
      As much as I would love to accurately represent each warship,
      I've lowered the actual weapon count from 6-18 for more strategic player input.
      JTL demands restrictions towards available firepower in a given arc,
      as Weapon Batteries will almost never drain the capacitor to endanger the vessel.
      I don't wish to make 1000m player ships completely over powered,
      players are to play a iconic roles in fleet combat.
      And as you are aware group size is limited to 20 players,
      I am aware in NGE pilots could invite additional players/groups as guest.
      It maybe possible to implement their star fighters for ship board launch as seen in Star Wars Battlefront.
      The Mandolorian Corvette is ok,
      but the Action VI Transport is unarmed a little more than a target.
